The Rivkah Ross Quartet plays original jazz inspired by jazz giants like Wayne Shorter, John Coltrane, Kenny Barron, and Steve Swallow.

Rivkah Ross is a professional jazz drummer, bandleader, and composer based in Portland, Oregon. Her debut album is anticipated to be released in the Summer of 2024 with the Portland-based label PJCE Records. Rivkah’s performances feature original instrumental jazz compositions, which tell stories of acceptance, hope, determination, overcoming challenges, and connections with loved ones. Rivkah has been playing drums on the East and West Coasts for the past two decades and earned her Bachelor of Music at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. Highlights of her career as a drummer so far include performing in Europe and opening up for Dick Dale, the B-52s, The New Mastersounds, LMFAO, and Lady Gaga, and performing on stage with Stevie Wonder.
