Position Overview
Montavilla Jazz is seeking experienced Stage Managers to oversee production at assigned festival venues during the 2026 Montavilla Jazz Festival. Stage Managers keep performances running on schedule, coordinate artists and production staff, supervise Stage Crew, and help deliver a seamless experience for performers and audiences.

Production Runner (Stage Crew)
Compensation: $160/day (up to 8 hours)

Reports to: Production Manager
Montavilla Jazz is seeking a flexible and dependable Production Runner to assist stage manager, production manager, and artists at assigned venues during the 2026 Montavilla Jazz Festival. Working closely with the Festival Production Manager, the Production Runner assists with artist hospitality, equipment and supply transport, production errands, venue support, and other time-sensitive operational needs. This role requires adaptability, strong communication skills, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced festival environment.

Crew (build/strike + support)
Compensation: $160/day (up to 8 hours)

Reports to: Operations Manager
Montavilla Jazz is seeking reliable and hardworking Operations Crew Members to support festival logistics and site operations during the 2026 Montavilla Jazz Festival. Working under the direction of the Festival Operations Manager and Venue Operations Leads, Operations Crew Members assist with setup and strike, parking and wayfinding, equipment and supply transport, site maintenance, and other operational needs across festival venues. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, strong communication skills, and the ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced festival environment.

Box Office Associate
Compensation: $19/hr (up to 8 hours)

Reports to: Operations Manager
Montavilla Jazz is seeking friendly and dependable Box Office Associates to provide excellent customer service during the 2026 Montavilla Jazz Festival. Box Office Associates assist with ticket sales, will-call, admissions, and guest questions while helping ensure efficient and welcoming box office operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, comfort learning ticketing systems, and the ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced festival environment.

Merch Associate

Montavilla Jazz is seeking friendly, organized, and customer-focused Merchandise Associates to oversee merchandise operations at assigned festival venues during the 2026 Montavilla Jazz Festival. Merchandise Associates manage merchandise sales, cash handling, and inventory tracking while serving as the primary merchandise contact for their venue. Working closely with the Operations Manager, Assistant Festival Director, volunteers, and venue staff, this position helps ensure merchandise operations run smoothly while providing a welcoming, engaging experience for festival attendees.
