The Montavilla Jazz Festival (MJF) is pleased to announce that Personal Beast is a supporting sponsor for the second year running. MJF recently spoke with owner Jett Wyatt and manager Kate Northington, this is what we learned:
Personal Beast began providing high quality pet food and supplies to Montavilla in 2008 as Salty’s. Less than a year after opening, Jett Wyatt bought the business and changed the name to Personal Beast. Jett loves working around animals, as a child she wanted to grow up to become a horse trainer.
Jett and Kate both love the small-town sense of community in Montavilla, the friendliness and diversity of the residents, and the fact that so many Montavilla residents also work in the neighborhood.
Personal Beast differs from the typical pet supply store in a number of ways. It carries a large variety of unique and healthy products—and can special-order even more. The employees provide outstanding customer service, and are knowledgeable and friendly, making the store a very welcoming place.
Personal Beast sponsors the Montavilla Jazz Festival because Jett Wyatt loves music and feels it is important to support the community that she loves.
