Leon Cotter Quintet

Saxophone/clarinet player Leon Cotter has led a varied musical life, spending much of the last decade touring the country with soul/blues band The California Honeydrops, while maintaining a reputation as a sought-after sideman and bandleader in Portland’s local jazz scene. He’s excited to celebrate a lifelong love of folk and traditional music with this set of songs, which draws influences from South African Jazz, Congolese rumba, and Romani belly dance music, among others.
